I had (another) infuriating discussion with my mother. She (and her church) have been praying for the souls of gays/lesbians around the world. Her church believes that god is sending all this pain, suffering and wrath upon the earth because “he’s” upset with how the world has accepted such a corrupt and immoral lifestyle (being gay/lesbian/bi/trans/other/etc).
So there you have it. Gays are responsible for all tornadoes, oil spills, plane crashes, droughts and famines, … … …
*such fucking bullshit* Sometimes it’s hard not to laugh in her face - what a nutter.
